Facility Expansion and a New Focus on Customization

The composites industry is currently gaining momentum and market share, and Champion Fiberglass is no exception. Recently, our CEO and owner Goran Haag spoke to the Houston Chronicle about how recently implemented steel tariffs are leading to increasing demand for fiberglass conduit – and Champion Fiberglass is more than ready to meet that demand.

Here are three quick facts about the facility expansion for you to share:

1. Facility to double output
Our 100%-digital facility has added a third production line, allowing us to nearly double production rates in order to continue to meet customer needs and timelines. The new line is to feature updated technology, and is slated to begin production at the end of this year.

2. Certifications and standards
Champion Fiberglass is pleased to announce that our facility recently received ISO (International Organization for Standardization) certifications 9001:2015 and 14001:2015 standards (independently certified by AFNOR). Champion Fiberglass is the only conduit-industry business to have received both certifications. The requirements of ISO 9001:2015 center on quality management systems; the ISO 14001:2015 certification centers on environmental management systems.

As we increase output and continue to upgrade our facilities, we’re increasingly focused on delivering the customized solutions your clients have asked for.
